Is a visa required for Turkey? Yes, please ensure you have your visa before travelling. You can apply for an e visa at: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ Do you offer a discount for more than 1 week stay and for taking both apartments? Yes we will offer a discount for multiple weeks stay, we don’t however offer a discount for taking both apartments. When can we take occupancy of the Apartments? The Apartment should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure and can be occupied from 4pm on the first booked day. If you require a late departure please contact us - we may be able to help depending on the time of the next guests arrival. Is there a cleaning service or do we clean ourselves? The apartments will be cleaned weekly, we can arrange an additional mid week clean on request for an additional charge. For 2 week stays a mid stay clean including change of towels and sheets is included. What currency is used in Turkey? Turkish Lira is the current currency. You will generally obtain the best rates for you money once you are in Kalkan, we recommend that you bring a little Turkish cash with you and change the rest once here. Do you provide beach towels? Yes we provide these as part of the service. Do we need to hire a car? The apartments are a short walk from town and unless you are going to do a lot of touring then there is no requirement for a car. A private return airport transfer from/to Dalaman is around £110 to £160 Is there wifi in the Apartments? Wifi is available in the apartments. Is there anything for Teenagers or Young Children? There are many beach clubs in Kalkan catering for younger children providing various social activities that include a water trampoline, slide and platforms. Water sports are available in Kalkan, with snorkeling & diving run by certified PADI instructors. Jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing, Ringo and Banana are also available. Are there many discos or nightclubs? Kalkan is really a great place to eat and enjoy the social atmosphere, as Kalkan has evolved there is a need to entertain the now teenage children of many long term visitors. Mojito Bar and Chocolate bar both provide late night bars and dancing. These bars very sociable and enjoyed not just by the young ones. Other bars with a lively feel are Utopia and Moonlight. All these bars are a distance away and they do not affect the tranquility of the apartments.
